What is EdXPrize?

The World's Premier Student Innovation Competition

 

EdXPrize is designed to ignite the next generation of problem-solvers. Our mission is to challenge students to think boldly, create solutions, and push the boundaries of what's possible. EdXPrize is open to all high school and secondary students (grades 9-12) from around the world.

Through the EdXPrize program, students gain access to resources that accelerate their ideas from concept to reality.

EdXPrize offers:

--Diverse Categories: From AI and sustainability to healthcare and social entrepreneurship.


--Industry Mentorship: Get guidance from experts and leaders in innovation.


--Real Impact: Learn how to solve problems, generate invention ideas, and launch new ventures.


The 2025 EdXPrize will officially launch worldwide on April 21, 2025 as part of World Creativity Day at the University of Montana.

2025 Focus Areas

The 2025 focus areas include the following.

Inventions & Technological Breakthroughs: Encourages students to submit new tools, devices, or apps that push boundaries in science and engineering.
Regional Problem-Solving: Inspires students to address pressing local issues such as sustainability, infrastructure, or education access.
AI & Automation: Highlights AI-driven solutions that improve efficiency, creativity, or social good.
Social Entrepreneurship: Encourages ideas that combine innovation with social impact (e.g., poverty alleviation, healthcare access).
Climate & Sustainability: Showcases solutions for environmental protection, carbon reduction, and green energy.
Health & Biomedical Innovations: Invites projects related to medical devices, digital health, or biotech breakthroughs.
Space & Future Tech: Motivates students to contribute to advancements in space exploration and futuristic concepts.

EDxPrize Pre-Registration

Pre-Register Your Teams with EDxPrize

Team Pre-Registration Now Open


Coaches are required to register teams for the EdXPrize. A Coach may be a teacher, a parent, a mentor, etc., that may help organize and guide the team through the competition. The coach will be the main point of contact with the EdXPrize.

The first 50 teams to pre-register for EdXPrize will be automatically sponsored by InfinityAI (limit 5 teams per school). If you are not one of the first 50 teams to register, EdXPrize will also offer sponsorship based on economic need.


If you do not require sponsorship, the entry fee for the 2025 EdxPrize will be $50 per team (payment is NOT required as part of pre-registration). As part of the 2025 competition, EdXPrize will assist all teams with fundraising for their entries as needed.
