futurebuild is designed to ignite the next generation of problem-solvers. Our mission is to challenge students to think boldly, create solutions, and push the boundaries of what's possible. futurebuild is open to all high school and secondary students (grades 9-12) from around the world.
Through the futurebuild program, students gain access to resources that accelerate their ideas from concept to reality.

The 2025 futurebuild will officially launch worldwide on April 21, 2025 as part of World Creativity Day at the University of Montana.

futurebuild coaches may manage their teams and track team progress using their Coach Account. Coaches receive a Coach Account username and password as part of their registration to futurebuild. Please contact us if you have not received an email detailing your Coach Account username and password.

Team Registration Now Open
Coaches are required to register teams for the futurebuild. A Coach may be a teacher, a parent, a mentor, etc., that may help organize and guide the team through the competition. The coach will be the main point of contact with the futurebuild.
The first 250 teams to register for futurebuild will be automatically sponsored by VBX (limit 5 teams per school). If you are not one of the first 50 teams to register, futurebuild will also offer sponsorship based on economic need.
